Face Masks for Students

Face masks for students who are living on or near campus are available 24/7 in the lobby of Public Safety, and students who reside off campus in the South Hill area can have them delivered once per week by emailing their request to publicsafety@ithaca.edu. The off-campus deliveries are pretty popular, and the officers enjoy supporting and connecting with students!

Additional spaces have been opened for upper-level students IN ALL MAJORS for a three-credit media studies course devoted to the representation of race, gender, class, gender identity, and sexuality on classical and contemporary American television programming. The course is taught synchronously on Monday evenings, 6:50 – 9:30 PM. The course fulfills the Writing Intensive and Diversity requirements for the ICC.

Spanish Studies Abroad, one of IC's study abroad partners, will be offering weekly Zoom info sessions this fall semester every Wednesday with a focus on a different location each week. These are a great way for students to learn more about Spanish Studies Abroad programs from in-country staff and alumni, and to start the planning process for study abroad in 2021-22 and beyond!

Ithaca College learned on Friday, Sept. 4, that two Ithaca College graduate students living off campus in Ithaca have tested positive for COVID-19. The students are in isolation in their local residences and are receiving proper care. The Tompkins County Health Department confirms that there was no exposure on the Ithaca College campus from these individuals. These are the first two known positive cases among members of the Ithaca College community since the college announced on August 18 that it would continue with remote instruction for the fall semester.
