An informational meeting about the Intergenerational Choir will be held this Tuesday, September 5th at 7:00pm in Whalen 3302.

Intergenerational Choir is comprised of residents of Longview Community and Ithaca College students, both music and non-music majors. The ensemble meets at Longview on Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm-8:00pm.  Members interact, sing songs of the early- and mid-twentieth century, and perform once a semester, led by student conductors from the group.  The first rehearsal will be Tuesday, September 12th.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Sarah Smokay Linfors at ssmokaylinfors@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.

The start of the semester, and the rapid increase of incoming student package volume, has seen an unprecedented shift in later delivery times from all major carriers to IC Mail Service. This delay is having a cascade effect where our department will not be able to complete all DEPARTMENTAL deliveries of those packages the same day.

In previous years, faculty have submitted requests to Public Safety for their students to have permission to be in academic buildings after-hours via e-mail.  This ensured that Public Safety was aware where students might be found in a building in case of emergency and that students found in a building after-hours had faculty permission to be there.  This year, an online form has been created to streamline and standardize the process for faculty to submit these requests.  All faculty who wish to grant permission to any of their students to be in an academic building after-hours should submit the required student information via the form at www.ithaca.edu/safety/accessrequests.
