This is a chance for people across department and school lines to learn more about the exciting pursuits of their colleagues and to engage with one another as members of a common learning community. The Research Fair will take place from 3:30- 5:30 pm in the McHenry Lobby of the School of Music with the first half-hour being a time for greeting and gathering. During its transition from the Zhou to Qin dynasties (770 B.C.E. to 221 B.C.E), China faced issues of national identity and international relations much like the issues early modern Europeans were to face centuries later. In response, early Confucians developed a model of global political order known as “tian xia.” In this talk, I will argue that an updated version of this model is not only possible, but in fact is superior to both nation-state and cosmopolitan models of governance. We have placed two templates in WebCRD where you can add your design and send it off for printing on our dye-sublimation equipment. As the semester winds down, consider creating a design to thank a roommate, professor, staff, family or friend. $6.99 per mug. A two sided design and a continuous design. The dimensions the design needs to meet are listed. We have samples to display at the graduation fair next week that will include bandannas for you and your favorite dog, flip flops, t-shirt, football key ring and a card caddy that you can attach to your cell phone. Course Description: How will we meet the complex challenges of the 21st century? We will need to find ways to combine insights and ideas from many fields of study and to use them creatively. Concepts and tools from systems science and design can help us do this. They are introduced through a series of engaging learning activities. Pass/Fail. 1 credit. No prerequisites. LA.

(462 words) The Ithaca College Public Relations Student Society of America hosts its 16th annual Swish for Make-A-Wish® basketball tournament. The event will be held on Saturday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Fitness Center at Ithaca College. This annual basketball game raises money for the Make-A-Wish® Central New York chapter, which has granted over 1,500 wishes to children in 15 counties, including Tompkins County. Patricia Zimmermann and Claudia Costa Pederson publish book chapter on experimental media artist Vincent GrenierContributed by Stephen Tropiano on 03/23/17 Patricia Zimmermann, professor of screen studies and codirector of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival, and Claudia Costa Pederson, assistant professor of art history at Wichita State University published a chapter analyzing the experimental media work of French Canadian artist Vincent Grenier.
