It was a successful weekend for Ithaca College athletics, as the Bomber softball team won a regional championship, men's lacrosse advanced into the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament, baseball claimed an Empire 8 title, and women's crew captured a pair of gold medals at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta.

This year the college established a first-year student enrollment goal of between 1650 and 1675, and adopted a budget based on 1650.  After accounting for summer melt, we anticipate that between 1610 and 1630 will enroll this fall.  The college admission landscape is increasingly competitive, and this was an extraordinary year at Ithaca College. Our campus community is to be commended for this positive outcome.

  • Identify the multiple layers of our roles and assessment practices across the Ithaca College campus;
  • Apply assessment tools and techniques across disciplines and co-curricular learning opportunities,
  • Create space for collegial dialogue that leads to unpacking challenges to assessment and resource development.

Beginning Wednesday May 18th the Fitness Center will be using the Hill Center Weight Room and Hill 106 for cardio equipment, to provide a place for the campus community to work out during the Fitness Center renovation.

Celebrate and share your message with a creative cap topper at graduation!
Create a design that measures 9” X 9”.
Allow for a 1” circle that will be cut out from the center for the button that holds the tassel.
Your design is printed on removable weather proof adhesive cloth paper.
Bring your pdf design to the Center for Print Production between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. 
Pay  $5.99 plus tax with ID Express, cash, check or credit card and pick up your graduation cap topper at the Library circulation desk during their business hours or at the Center for Print Production, located in the Center for Public Safety and General Services on Farm Pond Road between 8am and 5pm.

Check out the sample on display in the Campus Store and Phillips Hall Post Office.

Commencement Eve Concert
5/21/16 | 8:30 P.M. | Glazer Arena, Athletics & Events Center

You and your family are invited to the Commencement Eve Concert on Saturday, May 21, at 8:30 p.m. in the Glazer Arena, within the Athletics and Events Center. Admission is free.

Commencement is scheduled to take place at Butterfield Stadium at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 22nd.  The Academic Procession forms at 8:30 a.m. on the Academic Quad.  The Procession to Butterfield Stadium begins at 8:50 a.m.

In an effort to accommodate seating for family and guests, we will always attempt to hold the Commencement ceremony outdoors, even if it is raining.  In the case that severe weather is forecast in the morning, the outdoor ceremony may be postponed until 1:00 p.m.  If the ceremony is delayed until 1:00 p.m., the Academic Procession will form at 11:30 a.m. and the Procession to Butterfield Stadium will begin at 11:50 a.m.
