Over the next few weeks IT@IC will be pushing out a fix to eliminate the Keychain error that many users of college-owned Apple computers experience as a result of password synchronization issues.  

IT@IC will be deploying NoMAD which will help keep the Mac computer’s login password in sync with your Netpass password, which will eliminate the common Keychain error after an individual changes their Netpass password.  Once NoMAD is installed the initial Mac login screen will change to a light gray background with a large Ithaca College logo.  Please see the NoMAD help guide for more information.

Construction on a new sidewalk along Rt. 96B/Danby Road, the main route that connects Ithaca College to downtown Ithaca, is moving forward to provide members of the IC community and Ithaca residents with safer pedestrian access to and from campus. Construction will take place on the east side of the road—the campus side—extending from the Ithaca College main entrance to the Town/City of Ithaca municipal line at Grandview Avenue, beginning on Monday, June 8.

To the Academic Calendar subgroup/task force:

As administrators (and staff and faculty) continue to decide about the return to campus, the faculty in Politics would like to submit questions and a suggestion. While we hear that the Return to Campus Task Force composed of administrators, and the subgroups composed of a mix of constituent groups are working with local officials and partners in the community, as well as following the guidance provided by Governor Cuomo and his NY Forward Plan, we are failing to see much logic around the public health approach that puts us all in situations of danger during months when the flu season would be upon us.

As announced by President Collado on May 26, a Return to Campus Task Force has been formed and is developing criteria and procedures for the beginning of on-campus instruction in October. Identifying the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and supplies required by national, state, and local governmental regulations is a necessary early step in the planning process.
