It's that time a year again when everyone is making New Year's resolutions. Conquer that goal with the help of the BalanceWorks January Newsletter. Brian Scholten, Ithaca College Registrar, has been named Registrar at New College of Florida in Sarasota, Florida. New College of Florida is one of the nation’s premier public liberal arts institutions. Many thanks to Brian for his work since coming to Ithaca College as Registrar in 2009. During his tenure at IC, Brian has overseen moving from a print to an electronic academic catalog, implemented the student preferred first name policy, shepherded the move of the Office of the Registrar from Job Hall to PRW, and chaired the academic calendar committee. He has also presented regularly at the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers conference. Brian’s last day at Ithaca College will be March 16th. Congratulations and best wishes to Brian as he starts this next phase of his career! Employee permits for 2016 will be available to order online beginning Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Current Employee Parking Permits will expire on January 15, 2016. You may order your new parking permit online at www.ithaca.edu/sacl/parking_registration.php/ When registering online, please identify your preferred delivery method. Permits can be delivered via campus mail, picked up at our office or mailed to your home address.

(154 words) Integrative Therapies for Individuals with Breast CancerContributed by Theresa Johnson on 01/03/16 The club Ithaca College Unites For HER has participated in fundraising efforts to provide a grant to any student, faculty or immediate family member of theirs affected by breast cancer. This grant is to help pay for integrative, complementary therapies to help those who are going through or have gone through breast cancer treatment. These therapies include acupuncture, yoga classes, massage therapy, and nutrition counseling among others.
