In the fall of 2014 he began a PhD in Climate and Health at Columbia University. His experiences in the workforce have been diverse: working for a Latin American solidarity organization, a county’s solid waste division, a community health center, and most recently Columbia’s College of Physicians & Surgeons directing the Summer Public Health Scholars Program.
