Ten Thousand Saints, the film based on the novel of the same name by IC Writing Professor Eleanor Henderson, will make its debut in Ithaca at Cinemapolis on Friday, August 14th at 7 p.m. A talk-back, book-signing, and afterparty will follow.

 The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs will be sponsoring a volunteer trip to Syracuse, NY, during the fall break period (October 15 – October 17). Students will be working with the Syracuse Rescue Mission, which provides meals, shelter, as well as a variety of other services to residents of Syracuse who are experiencing extreme poverty or homelessness.

 

Advisers are needed to help manage the group’s schedule, assist with driving the Ithaca College van, and to facilitate a post-service reflection. Adviser participation is 100% subsidized through the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs. The group will depart from Ithaca on Thursday, and return Saturday evening.

Dining Services Main Offices located in the Terrace Dining Hall will be closed on Thursday, August 13th for an all-employee meeting. The Administrative Staff will not be available for mail deliveries/pick-ups or Faculty/Staff Meal Plan renewals.

Information Technology Services (ITS) would like to remind all Faculty and Administrative Assistants that the recently released Charcoal Scantron form can be used the same way as the Blue or Green Scantron form for exam processing. Course Evaluations must be done with their current form.

The Fitness Center will be operating with reduced hours from 8/10/15 - 8/21/15.  Our hours during these weeks will be as follows:

Monday - Thursday: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Friday: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Saturday - Sunday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
