October 15 – 17!Contributed by Don Austin on 08/09/15 The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs will be sponsoring a volunteer trip to Syracuse, NY, during the fall break period (October 15 – October 17). Students will be working with the Syracuse Rescue Mission, which provides meals, shelter, as well as a variety of other services to residents of Syracuse who are experiencing extreme poverty or homelessness.
Advisers are needed to help manage the group’s schedule, assist with driving the Ithaca College van, and to facilitate a post-service reflection. Adviser participation is 100% subsidized through the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs. The group will depart from Ithaca on Thursday, and return Saturday evening.
