It is with great sadness that we share the news that an IC campus community member, Cathy Saloff-Coste, recently passed away unexpectedly. Cathy worked with students through the Center for Counseling Health and Wellness as a registered dietitian. She was a dear friend to many of us and was an asset to Ithaca College in numerous ways.

For over 15 years, Cathy met individually with students to address their nutritional concerns, providing gentle and respectful advice about healthy eating. As a Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian (CEDRD), Cathy was passionate about helping students who were struggling with disordered eating, as well as prevention education. She provided workshops and other programs on campus, such as panel presentations during National Eating Disorders Awareness Week and the annual NEDAW information series on Intercom.
