Join Stillwater Magazine ​for a night of linguistic splendor! On Tuesday, February 17 from 7-9pm in the Pub, IC's only literary and art magazine will offer students the chance to read and write original poetry, fiction, nonfiction, or what have you, alongside IC faculty. Everyone will participate in a Cards Against Humanity-inspired group free-write. Attendees will have 15 minutes to come up with the best poem or prose piece or song or story they can in response to the prompt. After the writing period, all are welcome on stage to share their spontaneous creations, while indulging in candy. Come out, have fun, and support your peers and professors!​

Faculty Council will hold two Town Hall meetings to discuss shared governance and the Shared Governance Research Task Force's Final Report. The meetings are open to all faculty and administrators.

Dates are: Tuesday, February 17 and Thursday, February. 19. Both meetings are in Textor 102 at 12:05.

Photography Professor Ron Jude will give a lecture about his work and involvement in book publishing at the Photography Studies College in Melbourne, Australia on Tuesday, February 17th. He was invited to lecture as a part of the Photobook Melbourne Festival.

On Thursday, February 19th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Handwerker Gallery, On the Verge will present a staged reading of HEDDA GABLER, directed by Claire Gleitman (department of English). The Language and Cultural Exchange Cooperative (LCEC) is a new space on campus that can be used to enhance cooperative and integrative global learning. This space was conceived after Modern Languages and Literatures faculty members conducted significant research on language center trends and the use of technology in higher education. The LCEC was designed to serve not only its home department, but also collaborations with the wider Ithaca College community.

As previously posted to Intercom on 2/13, parking lot closures that began this past Tuesday will be continuing through Saturday, February 21 as the A&E Center at Ithaca College serves as host to the Big East Conference Swimming and Diving Championships.

On Tuesday, February 17, 30 U-Lot parking spaces will be blocked off for the full duration of the work day as special event parking.  The lot entrance will remain open and all unreserved spaces will continue to be available as general parking as per normal operations.
