Food Allergy Awareness Club

Contributed by Theresa Johnson on 06/24/14

This coming fall, Ithaca College is launching a Food Allergy Awareness Club.  The purpose of the club is to advocate for those with specific dietary needs, serve as a support group, and create a safe and inclusive atmosphere in the dorms, dining halls, and bonus bucks locations.

Students without dietary restrictions are also welcome!  Perhaps you have family or friends with a food intolerance, or you are a nutrition or health major.  Our goal is to spread knowledge and understanding of the growing epidemic of food allergies.  Together we can find solutions.

If you are interested in becoming a member, officer, or adviser, please contact Mackenzie Gannon at mgannon1@ithaca.edu.  Look for our table at the Fall Organization Fair!
