Categorize Calendar Events

Meetings and appointments on your calendar can be categorized and color-coded.  Simply right-click (control-click on a Mac) an event on your calendar and hover your mouse cursor over "categorize" in the popup menu.  You will then be presented with a list of categories that you can designate for the event.  These categories can be edited and customized.

All faculty that are planning to conduct research or classroom activity involving recombinant DNA or any potentially bio-hazardous material, including pathogens, biological toxins, or human cells, tissues, organs, or fluids must obtain prior approval from the Institutional Biosafety Committee before undertaking that activity. This committee provides federally-mandated oversight of activities that present risk of infection or illness in humans.

Launched in May 2013, the IC Mentoring Network now has over 1,100 student, alumni, and IC community participants -- and the number is growing every day. Mentoring occurs in the form of online discussions hosted on LinkedIn.  

 

Hundreds of discussions have been taking place, where students have been asking many questions and have received valuable insights and information from alumni and other IC community members as they plan for careers and life after college.
