Each November, the "Thank You for Making a Difference" peer-to-peer appreciation program offers employees the opportunity to send "thank-you" notes to colleagues across campus. This year, each thank you note will also contain a $7.00 coupon redeemable at the Ithaca College Bookstore and Mac's General Store in Phillips Hall.

Appreciation Packets will be delivered via intracampus mail, with the coupon redemption process beginning Monday, November 4, and ending Wednesday, November 27. This timeframe will not be extended.

 The Ithaca Seminar, "Creativity and the Arts" invites you to join them outside of Phillips Hall, in front of the Wishing Tree between noon and 3 pm SUNDAY, November 3 for cookies, bubbles, and lots of positive reinforcement.

 

 

Thanks to the overwhelming response by Ithaca College students, faculty and staff, the entire allocation of tickets for the Nov. 16 Cortaca Jug football game has been claimed. No tickets are available at this time. Alumni ticket purchasing information is available at the alumni web site.

 

 The Public and Community Health Student Association is bringing in guest speaker Frank Kruppa, the Director of the Tompkins County Health Department on Monday November 4 at 6pmin Williams 317.  Mr. Kruppa will speak about his education, his early career path, what he & his colleagues do at the Health Department, careers at the Health Department related to public health, and more! If you are interested in any field related to public health, you don't want to miss this!

 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped to contribute and make the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute team a Grand Champion fundraiser (senior care category) in the 2013 Ithaca Walk to End Alzheimer's! Thanks to team captain Kat Burton's incredible leadership and hard work, the team raised $1,353 towards the cause. All together, the community raised $349,258 for Alzheimer's research and support services in Central New York.
