IC's chapter of Students Consulting for Non-Profit Organizations (SCNO) is currently looking for new members for the Fall 2013 semester! SCNO is an entirely student-run organization that provides local non-profits with consulting work to improve their opportunities to be successful in the community. The practical experience that is provided through SCNO provides our members with a competitive edge in the job market as they develop skills that a variety of industries look for.

With National Science Foundation funding, Dr. Paula Turkon and Dr. Sturt Manning (Cornell University), in collaboration with Mexican and American archaeologists and dendrochronologists, will undertake a two-year project to develop a much higher resolution chronology than previously possible for Classic Period archaeological sites in Mesoamerica.
