Dan O'Shannon, an executive producer and writer of the hit show Modern Family, will serve as this year's Park Distinguished Visitor. During his visit to campus, O'Shannon will give a public presentation, host a writer's workshop, and speak in various classes.
REMP (resource and environmental management program) is hosting a documentary showing for Food Day!
The Center for Faculty Excellence and the Sustainability Initiative are interested in forming an academic sustainability interest group to exchange ideas about infusing sustainability content into curricula across disciplines and to strengthen and foster greater student and faculty engagement in sustainability initiatives here on campus and in the local community. The group will likely convene once a month or so in the Center for Faculty Excellence on the 3rd floor of the Gannett Center. Times for the meetings will vary to allow more faculty to attend and participate.

The Handwerker Gallery is excited to be reopening its doors with the second exhibition of the semester featuring the work of two artists, Austin Ballard and J. Michael Lowe. Ballard will be giving an artist talk in which he discusses the trajectory of his practice and the work featured in the exhibition on Wednesday, October 24, at 6.00 p.m..

Cyberbullying refers to a number of activities that all constitute digital harassment. It involves the use of information and communication technologies to support deliberate, repeated, and hostile behavior by an individual or group, intended to harm others. The best defense against harassment is to familiarize yourself with all effective use policies and laws and report, block, and ignore as necessary. The best guideline to follow is to absolutely avoid cyberharrassment at all costs: don’t bully anyone, don’t respond to any provocation, and report all instances you see.
