Dr. Tennant’s scholarship and service span traditional disciplinary boundaries; she is a health economist and creative non-fiction writer who is deeply engaged in local arts initiatives and has consistently contributed outstanding faculty service to her department, School, and College. She will bring a commitment to collaboration and an expertise in interdisciplinary learning to this leadership role. The IC2 Project is dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary and integrative learning with faculty and students from across the College, and the program offers interdisciplinary ICIC mini-courses as one contribution toward these goals. As we prepare to welcome Dr. Tennant to her new role next year, I want to also publicly thank Dr. Gordon Rowland and Dr. Jason Hamilton for their longstanding commitment to building and sustaining the program, as well as the IC2 faculty who generously served as the screening committee for the new director.
