A documentary by James Rada, associate professor in the Department of Journalism, was given an Accolade Award of Merit.

Larry, M.S. '87, passed away in September 2008 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.  Larry was an inspiring leader and astute manager to Ithaca College.   In his memory, the Metzger family has established a Memorial Scholarship at Ithaca College, as well as a research fund in the Biology Department

Danette Johnson, Professor of Communication Studies, and Greg Acquavella '11, an alum of the Communication Studies program, have co-authored an article titled, "Organization-public relationship satisfaction and intention to retain a relationship with a cell phone service provider", which will be published in The Southern Communication Journal in 2012.   Greg is currently a graduate student in the Roy H. Park School of Communications.
