Bomber Blitz 5K Walk/Run Pre-Registration- October 14th!Contributed by Justine Picciano on 10/13/11 The PT Club's 4th annual Bomber Blitz 5k Walk/Run is on Sunday, November 6th!! All money raised will go towards Push to Walk, a non-profit organization helping individuals with spinal cord injury and paralysis realize their individual potential! Pre-registration is due TOMORROW, OCTOBER 14TH! Pick up, and drop off completed registration forms at the PT Department Office located in 335 Smiddy Hall. Participants viewed segments of presentations together along with a panel of neuroscientists and a scholar of Buddhist philosophy from local universities. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions to clarify their understanding on topics covered in the Mind and Life talks as well as gained related information from other resources. The spirit of these sessions was intended to deepen learning, understanding, and dialogue on these topics rather than foment debate or critiques of different views. A 10-person delegation of administrators, faculty and students from China’s Chengdu Sport University will celebrate the upcoming dedication of Ithaca College’s Athletics and Events Center by offering three demonstrations of martial arts that include Tai Chi, a traditional Chinese exercise regimen of gentle, flowing movements proven to benefit the health of people of all ages.
