The search for an official Ithaca College mascot has begun! Its name will be Bomber in honor of our long standing nickname, but we don’t know what it will be. Hurry up and send in your suggestions before the January 7th deadline. Watch the “Who is Bomber?” video to get inspired. Exciting prizes for selected ideas will be announced soon!

As the President of Ithaca College's Student Government Association, I am very pleased to see the IC community moving forward to select an official College mascot. SGA has been working on enhancing school spirit at IC and a mascot will act as a positive rallying point for students, alumni, and the rest of the IC community. An official mascot will boost participation at College events and help start new traditions while enhancing existing ones.

I look forward to seeing what ideas our students come up with and what Bomber is going to look like!
