After a successful iTunes U pilot last fall we are pleased to announce that Ithaca on iTunes U is now open to the IC community to distribute audio and video podcasts. To celebrate, representatives from Apple will be on campus on Thursday, February 26th for the day to offer several sessions on iTunes U and podcast creation tools from Apple. This event is open to the IC community.

The American Council on Education’s (ACE) Office of Women in Higher Education honored President Emerita Peggy R. Williams at its annual meeting on February 7 in Washington, D.C. Williams was presented with the Donna Shavlik Award, which is given annually to an individual whose leadership has demonstrated a sustained and continuing commitment to the advancement of women through actions or initiatives enhancing women’s leadership development, career development, campus climate, and mentoring opportunities.

IC Theatre presents Hello Again, a musical by Michael John LaChiusa that is directed by Jeff Crosley '09.

Performances will be held in Studio 2 in Dillingham Center at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. on February 15 and 16. Hello Again will run approximately 80 minutes.

Because of its content, this play is intended for mature audiences only. Admission is free but donations are accepted.

Leigh Ann Vaughn, associate professor in the Department of Psychology, presented research at the 10th annual conference of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology in Tampa, Florida, on February 8, 2009. The research was coauthored by 2008 Ithaca College psychology graduates Audrey Harkness and Emily Clark.
