The School of Humanities and Sciences is pleased to announce this year's winners of the C. P. Snow Scholar Award and the H&S Dean's Award. The C. P. Snow Scholar Award recognizes a high-achieving student "who has successfully combined scientific and humanistic studies at Ithaca College." The Dean's Awards are given to the four graduating seniors with the highest GPAs in their discipline.

National Nurses Week 2008

National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6 (also known as National Nurses Day) through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. The theme of this year's celebration is "Nurses: Making a Difference Every Day."

The softball team (30-10) has been chosen to host an NCAA regional tournament from Thursday through Monday at Kostrinsky Field. The Bombers are the top seed for the seven-team tournament, and will play their first game Thursday at 4:00 p.m.

Ticket prices are $5 for general admission and $2 for students, senior citizens, and children under 12 years old. Tickets are only good for the day of purchase; no complimentary passes will be accepted.
