Reception for Townsend Plant

Townsend Plant '97, M.M. '00, director of music admission programs since 2001, will soon take on the position of director of admissions and financial aid for Indiana University's School of Music in Bloomington, one of the largest music schools in the country. A farewell reception will be held on Thursday, May 8, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Friends Green Room (James J. Whalen Center for Music, room 3106).

Howard Kalman, assistant professor in the Department of Strategic Communication, has been published in Performance Improvement Quarterly. His article, entitled "Transforming the Corporate Training Function through Developing a Training Strategy and Advisory Board: A Longitudinal Case Study," was a study that "examined the use of a strategic planning process to reinvent a corporate training department."
