EarthWeek 2008 Activities

EarthWeek 2008 offers an "earth-stravaganza" of interesting activities, with something for everybody. EarthWeek begins Monday, April 21, and concludes Thursday, April 24. Some events will offer free food and at some events, items will be given away. All events are free and open to the public.

Thank You to All Blood Donors

THANK YOU all that have donated so generously to the Ithaca College blood drives this school year.

Staff Council and the American Red Cross Club collected 533 blood donations, helping over 1,500 patients in our area -- and on April 10, we set a new record at Ithaca College by collecting a total of 150 units at one blood drive.

The United Way of Tompkins County and the IC Center for Student Leadership and Involvement (CSLI) have combined to create a pilot philanthropy program on IC's campus. The Stone Soup Philanthropy Corps will be a student-run board responsible for allocating funds to community businesses and organizations throughout the Ithaca area.
