Dating Game/Casino Night

Every year when it nears Valentine's Day, IC After Dark likes to play the role of Cupid. We team up with the Student Activities Board (SAB) to produce the Dating Game and Casino Night.

Come join us on Friday, February 8, in Emerson Suites from 9:00 p.m. to midnight. There will be a dating game show and casino games such as blackjack, Texas hold 'em, and slots, which you can play while watching the show. And, as always, it's all FREE!

The Wednesday Salon is a Handwerker Gallery program aimed at providing students, faculty, staff, and members of the community a forum outside of a classroom setting for intellectual discussion and debate. Topics are selected by a guest discussant, who provides a 10-minute introduction and moderates the ensuing conversation.

Composer Joan Tower to Visit

Joan Tower -- hailed by the New Yorker magazine as "one of the most successful woman composers of all time" -- will visit Ithaca College as part of the Enduring Masters series on Tuesday, February 5. Featuring performances by various Ithaca College ensembles, "The Chamber Music of Joan Tower" will start at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music.

Tower will also appear on Monday, February 4, to give an informal interview and lecture about her life and career at 8:15 p.m. in the Iger Lecture Hall in the Whalen Center. Both events are free and open to the public.
