The family of Jase Barrack ’20, who passed away on May 10 after suffering a serious injury off campus, has asked the college to make the campus community aware of some appropriate channels for making donations in his memory. An athletic training major, Jase was being cared for at Cayuga Medical Center, and his family made the decision to donate his organs in order to offer others the gift of life.

Risham Majeed (Art History) presented her research at the Frick Collection in New York City. A first for the Frick, the panel, “Who’s Not in the Picture,” examined histories of visibility, representation, and exclusion in Euro-American museum history. Majeed advocated for a historically grounded approach when evaluating art historical and museological narratives.

What is the Dependent Cash Award?

The Dependent Cash Award is for eligible dependent children attending another accredited institution other than Ithaca College.  The maximum Cash Award benefit is $500 per semester, up to a total of $4,000 per dependent child.  If both parents are benefits-eligible Ithaca College employees, the maximum benefit is $1,000 per semester, up to a total benefit of $8,000 per child.
