The Resource and Environmental Management Program is seeking submissions from the College community for an environmental journal to be published this fall. Gallery Talk by Janice Levy

Thursday, at noon, the Handwerker Gallery will host an artist's talk in conjunction with the exhibition Out of Place: New Color Photography by Janice Levy. Levy, associate professor and chair of the cinema and photography department at Ithaca College, will discuss the work she produced during her 2001 sabbatical in Madagascar and its impact on her current photography. The Ithaca College Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Jeffrey Grogan, will welcome guest musician, composer, and conductor Mícheál Ó'Súilleabháin for an evening of Irish music and the showing of a silent film on Tuesday, October 7. The free performance will begin at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall in the Whalen Center.

A screening of the 1926 film Irish Destiny will be accompanied by the chamber orchestra playing a score by Ó'Súilleabháin. Other Irish music, much of it composed by Ó'Súilleabháin, completes the program.
