Educational Psychology explores the study of human development from infancy through adolescence, including cognitive and behavioral approaches to learning in the context of school and other instructional situations. Educational Psychology is required for the Education Studies Minor and the Teacher Education Preparation track.

VoiceThreads about each reading are posted daily, giving an overview of the main theories and concepts. In addition, daily assignments and quizzes are posted in advance of their due date, allowing students to schedule their completion of work on Sakai by the deadlines.

Ithaca College has selected Hayley Harris, a human resources professional with nearly two decades of experience leading strategic HR initiatives, as its new vice president for human and organizational development and planning. Harris has served since 2017 as the human resources director for Cornell University’s Research Division, a large, complex division comprising over 25 research centers and administrative units. She will begin her new position at IC on May 6, 2019.

Hi, my name is Sue-Je Gage, Associate Professor at Ithaca College. I am recruiting students members from across campus to participate in a study on how conflicts are addressed and resolved on campus. The goal of this study is to create a conflict resolution map for our campus to better help our campus community members understand where they can go to address conflicts. The study involves conducting focus group interviews of about 6-10 members for each of the three constituent groups: faculty, staff and students. Focus groups with staff and faculty will be held at different sessions.
