Therapeutic Recreation Program Receives Continuing AccreditationContributed by Christopher Klinger on 11/27/18 On November 1st, Ithaca College received official notice that the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies was awarded continuing accreditation for their Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Program until 2025 by the Council on Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism, and Related Professions (COAPRT). The Council approved the following commendations:
The program also received the Best of the Best award, recognizing their role in training highly effective professionals in the field of Therapeutic Recreation. Join Ithaca College's LGBTQ+ student organizations in IC Square on Monday, December 3rd at 7:30 PM.
