Dear Ithaca College community,

For the last nine years, I had the great privilege and honor to serve on the Ithaca College Board of Trustees. For the final six, I led the board as chair. Serving as a trustee gave me an opportunity to express my love for Ithaca College and my desire to help advance the mission of this institution.

My service on the board ran its course at the end of May, and since then I have taken time to reflect on my years on the board and how profoundly they have touched my life. I am writing to you now to thank you, and to share my heartfelt gratitude for your investment in this college and in this community.

As I approach the end of a twenty-five year career with Ithaca College this week, I couldn't leave without thanking each of you for being a special part of my life, both professionally and, for some, personally.  Whether I've passed you in the hall and we exchanged a smile or we worked together side-by-side, you have added to the fond memories I will always have of Ithaca College.
