Weekly Testing Reminder

Thank you to the campus community for your continued participation in the required weekly COVID-19 testing.  A friendly reminder that our next testing dates are Tuesday, October 6 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and Wednesday, October 7 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at the A&E Center.  Please register as soon as possible so you can ensure a time slot that works for your schedule.

Click HERE to register for an appointment. Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes prior to your appointment, and no earlier. Also, please do not arrive late. Please have your appointment confirmation either printed or available on your phone.

The Tompkins County Health Department (TCHD) has identified a new positive COVID-19 case in an individual who has accessed the Ithaca College campus. The individual is in isolation and receiving proper care. Due to privacy laws, neither the TCHD nor Ithaca College are able to disclose the name or other identifying information about this person.

Sakai Replacement Update

We are excited to announce that the Learning Management System (LMS) Advisory Team has come up with a communication and engagement strategy and have finalized the action groups. This team will be working on finding a replacement for our current Sakai LMS.

Over the past three weeks, award-winning photojournalist John Noltner helped us document our community's story via online virtual studio sessions with a group of 50 students and staff. During each session he asked participants to reflect on the question: “What does community or belonging look like for you during this time of pandemics and protests?”  

Join us for an evening conversation tomorrow with John as he unveils a sample of this year’s portraits, shares insights on themes explored, and explains his process.

Ithaca College Students of Color have called on White-Identifying students, faculty, and staff to do the internal work necessary to be anti-racist. These ongoing workspaces are designed for White-identifying students to understand the many layers of systemic racism in order to dismantle them, and to understand their role in this anti-racist work.
