The Ithaca College Gerontology Institute hosted Dr. Richard Payne, MD, as our 2017 Distinguished Speaker. Dr. Payne is a neurologist and palliative medicine physician. Since 2004, he has been on the faculty of Duke University, and is the Esther Colliflower Professor of Medicine and Divinity. Katelyn was chosen for her established leadership abilities and accomplishments and for her potential to emerge as a dynamic and effective leader in the profession upon matriculation from her degree program. She will officially begin her term on the NATA SLC this coming June by attending the NATA Annual Conference & Symposium in New Orleans, which will be funded by District 2 of the NATA.
