Second, the meetings are voluntary and I don't expect you to be there on both Tuesday and Thursday. I simply picked both days because I know some of you won't be able to come on one of them. Also, my own sense is that we should initially have a couple of meetings as a group before I schedule one-on-one meetings with you. That way, we'll all have a general sense of the challenges faculty face in different schools/programs before we design the individualized meetings. (122 words) The Internal Revenue Service has released the 2018 tax withholding rates and these rates have been updated in Parnassus. Most employees will see an increase in their net pay starting with their next paycheck. The new withholding rates reflect the changes made in the tax reform legislation that was passed in December. Some of these changes include the increase in the standard deduction, repeal of personal exemptions, and changes in tax rates and tax brackets. The revisions are aimed at reducing over and under federal tax withholdings.
