With mixed feelings, the communication studies faculty and students bid farewell to Michael Whelan, who joined the faculty a decade ago after leaving behind a successful law practice in Florida.  Michael has now decided to retire from his faculty position leaving behind a successful career as a teacher, mentor, and campus leader.

In an effort to support the increasing growth of conferences and events occurring at Ithaca College during the summer, Parking Services has collaborated with Campus Center and Event Services to create new summer parking restrictions that are more hospitable to the many visitors that are attracted to come to Ithaca College over the summer.  The goal of this change is to create a more welcoming environment for our summer guests who are unfamiliar with our campus.  These changes are feasible given the significant reduction of faculty, staff and students accessing parking facilities on campus during the summer months.

The Fitness Center will remain open for our regular academic year hours through Thursday 5/11/17.  On Friday 5/12/17, the Fitness Center will be open form 7:00am - 2:00pm.

From 5/13/17 through 5/28/17, the Fitness Center will be operating with the following reduced hours:

Sat. 5/13: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Sun. 5/14: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Mon. 5/15 - Fri. 5/19: 11am-2pm, 5pm -7pm

Sat. 5/20: CLOSED

Sun. 5/21: CLOSED

Mon. 5/22 - Fri. 5/26: 11am-2pm, 5pm -7pm

Sat. 5/27: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Sun. 5/28: 10:00am - 2:00pm

The Fitness Center will be closed for maintenance from Monday 5/29/17 through Sunday 6/4/17
