Our first DIIS Associate Vice President/Chief Information Officer  candidate will be on campus on Thursday, April 27.  Members of the campus community are invited to attend an open session, which is scheduled at 1:30 pm in Textor 103.  Materials for Thursday's candidate can be found here.

Feedback for all candidates will be collected via an online evaluation form.  Please provide your feedback no later than close of business on Friday, May 5.

Alluvian, the environmental journal affiliated with the Environmental Studies and Sciences Department at Ithaca College, just released its latest issue called Cohesion: Bugs, Soil, and Fungus online! To read the latest issue and previous ones, check out their website. Additionally, the Journal is accepting online submissions for its next issue on Climate Change and Society until Sept. 30th, 2017. The Journal accepts art, creative non-fiction, science journalism, nature writing, and poetry. For submission guidelines and to stay updated with the latest content, like Alluvian on Facebook.   

Alluvian prides itself in representing natural and environmental writing from students all over the country, with 50% of its latest issue comprised from non-IC students. If you enjoy writing about the environment, please consider submitting to Alluvian soon!

The campus community was invited to a pair of presentations on Tuesday, April 25 that highlighted the results of the campus climate survey that was open last fall.

The survey was offered to all current students, faculty, and staff at IC. Its aim: to measure how those groups perceive the academic, social, and professional environments of the college. Tuesday’s session served to showcase areas of strength within the campus climate, as well as areas that can be improved upon.
