HPPE Professor, Raj Subramaniam and Caitlin Weems (graduate student) published an article titled "Reframing Climate Change for Environment Health" in the Journal of Environmental Health, 79 (8), 24-27. This article examines factors influencing public views on climate change and uses the Health Belief Model to showcase the efficacy of an individual behavior change program to understand climate change at the microlevel.

Apply to participate in OSEMA's Summer Service trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, taking place in May 13 to May 20, 2017!  Summer Service trips are week-long opportunities for students to start out their summers with some community service.  We are still seeking a student to help serve as a driver for our trip to Milwaukee where we will focus on food justice and poverty alleviation with the nationally renowned urban farm, Growing Power, Inc. Participants will have time to see and explore the greater Milwaukee area as well!

There will also be live performances, a raffle, and pizza! The event will be held on Friday, April 7, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm in the lower level gyms of the IC Fitness Center.

A random selection of 25% of faculty, staff and students will be receiving an e-mail from CIO@ithaca.edu on Tuesday, April 4th,  with the subject line: "Invitation to take 2017 TechQual+ Survey for Ithaca College Students, Faculty, and Staff. It will be open through April 14th, 2017.  This survey, conducted annually, will provide the college with a longitudinal view of student, faculty, and staff perspectives about IT services.  Additionally, we will be able to compare our IT service outcomes against the performance of other institutions.  The survey results will be thoroughly reviewed by our staff and shared with the campus community.

**Those who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for one of four $25 gift certificates to the Ithaca College Bookstore (2 for students, 1 for faculty, 1 for staff).**

The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management and the Office of the General Counsel will host two campus community forums this week to introduce the goals and guidelines of the Ithaca College Body-Worn Camera Program. The program is one component of the Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives that were announced in the fall of 2015. The forums will include a short introduction of the body-worn cameras and allow members of the community to have a discussion and ask questions prior to implementation, which is targeted for mid-April.
