Individuals who had stroke more than 6 months ago are needed for a study investigating the impact of physical therapy on walking and balance. Participants will be randomized to exercise in the water or on land using a treadmill 3 times per week for 4 weeks and will be compensated for their time. Please contact Sarah Fishel at sfishel@ithaca.edu for additional information. 

We are looking for infants who will soon turn 5 months, born within 3 weeks of due date, weighing less than 30 lbs., have not yet started to crawl on hands and knees, and are developing typically.

Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Meghan Musnicki will return to her roots at Ithaca College from September 27 - October 1 as an Olympic Champion in Residence.  Musnicki, will host a speaking event on campus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Hockett Family Recital Hall inside the James J Whalen Center for Music.  The event is free and open to the public.

I'm sorry to share the sad news that former employee Anne Ryan passed away yesterday morning. Anne, who led development communications efforts in what is now known as the Division of Institutional Advancement and Communication, worked at IC from the mid-1990s until she retired about a decade ago. After she retired, she had continued to be a frequent collaborator and freelancer.

There will be a celebration of her life this Saturday, September 24, at noon, at Simeon's on the Ithaca Commons. The address is 224 East State Street.
