Based on campus community feedback regarding the size and weight of the standard Dell laptop offered by ITS, we are moving to the Dell Latitude E7250 as the standard model. The E7250 is smaller and almost 2 pounds lighter, and should meet the needs of the majority of faculty and staff. Effective immediately, the Dell Latitude model E7250 will become the standard Windows laptop offered through the Technology Renewal Program, and for new purchases through the ITS Catalog in iProcurement.

On behalf of Provost Rifkin, I am pleased to invite you to a presentation by Ms. Ulrike Leibrecht, Managing Director of CEPA Europe, an organization offering customized educational programs abroad in support of faculty-led short-term programs. Ms. Leibrecht will speak on the advantages of a partnership with CEPA and on the development of academically focused faculty-led program opportunities in Europe, Asia, and Brazil. Staff who are considering the development of non-credit short-term travel programs for students are also encouraged to attend.

Free Rock Climbing!

The most recent version of Chrome, version 45, is not working with Parnassus at this time. This is likely due to security changes implemented in the latest version of Chrome.

Currently, Parnassus is only accessible through Internet Explorer on Windows, or Safari on Macs. This applies to both "self-service" and "core apps" functions of Parnassus.

ITS is investigating solutions to allow Parnassus to be accessed from other browsers.
