VoiceThread has improved their Assignment feature that allows an instructor to grade student work and pass a grade to the learning management system (Sakai or Canvas). On June 30, 2021 all VoiceThread users will use the new Assignments feature. VoiceThread will be hosting four, free, one-hour workshops to support faculty at all levels of experience with the tool including a dedicated workshop on the new Assignments feature. At the end of March, Qualtrics will begin rolling out changes meant to improve user experience.
The virtual CONfluence convention at Syracuse University will feature Ithaca College Instructor Ed Catto as a speaker, in the opening block, delivering his "Groovy Tunes- the Submersion of Rock Music in the Bronze Age" presentation. This presentation is partially based on his work to be published in TwoMorrow's Back Issue Magazine.

This is meant to be a safe space to share your grief surrounding the pandemic and otherwise, as well as provide the compassionate presence to colleagues who are also coping with grief and loss of all kinds. This gathering is sponsored by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and will be facilitated by Mandi Zucker, LSW, CT, the Founder and President of Inner Harbor, an organization dedicated to supporting all sorts of grievers.
