Ithaca College has named Keith “Mac” McIntosh, a proven leader with more than three decades of experience in the field, as its new associate vice president for information technology services and chief information officer. He succeeds Ed Fuller, who retired this past January, and will start at the college on Aug. 25.

Conger presented “Sally Franklin Bache:  Learning from the Past or Charting a New Course?” at the Fifth Annual Sons of the American Revolution Conference, whose theme this year was “Women in the Era of the American Revolution,” Williamsburg, Virginia, June 20, 2014.  Publication of the conference papers (which were pre-circulated and discussed at length at the venue) in a peer-reviewed edited volume is expected in 2015.

Editor Dan Masciari, cinematographer Jackson Eagan and sound designer Lucas Knapp have received exciting news about their latest Park Productions video project; "Water in the Cloud Forest" was just announced to be a finalist in the Smithsonian Institute's Video in Motion contest, an international competition, open to professionals as well as students. The project was supported by a global study grant from the Dr. John Keshishoglou Center for Global Communications Innovation.

Dr. House, assistant professor of Communication Studies in H&S, will join a distinguished and diverse panel in the Washington, D.C. The panel was assembled by the Human Rights Campaign and The Carpenter Program on Religion, Gender, and Sexuality at Vanderbilt Divinity School.  The panel's theme is related to Dr. House's ongoing scholarly program:  "When Identities Collide: LGBTQ Advocates and Religious Conflict" .
