The Mental Health Response Team, a program of the Center for Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), is a team of staff and faculty who want to help the campus community.  CAPS wants to congratulate & thank the following staff and faculty for their completion of the training.  They are now members of the MHRT, a team prepared to help CAPS provide campus support during a campus crisis.

New Aphasia Support Group

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology is hosting an aphasia support group and if you are a stroke or traumatic brain injury survivor with aphasia or communication difficulties, we invite you to join us!

The Ithaca Community Aphasia Network (ICAN) will provide a casual and comfortable atmosphere for participants to talk, share experiences, and offer support to one another. Group members will gain new information to help them face challenges in their everyday lives.

Hilary Greenberger of Physical Therapy, is the guest host of the next Faculty Show and Share on Thursday, February 2 at 3:15 pm in the CET (Job 102).

In a collaboration with ITS, 60 short instructional video podcasts were created and distributed on iTunes U to students in the Musculoskeletal Examination and Evaluation course to demonstrate dynamic techniques.  Hilary will share how these clips changed the way students approach the learning process in lab and address the preferences of students regarding convenience and availability on a mobile device.

Registration is appreciated but not required since it is a small space.

Zillah Eisenstein, professor of politics, traveled to Jakarta Indonesia to participate in meetings dealing with Indonesian women's changing lives in the global economy. 

She also spoke as part of a cultural program at Komunitas Salihara, January 11, 2012, and shared her talk, "Gender Trafficking from the Bronx to Jakarta". www.salihara.org 

Housing Selection Information

New Housing Information

The Upper-Years program will continue in Terraces 9 &11 for the 2012-2013 academic year. This community will only be available to current Ithaca College students and incoming Transfer students looking for an opportunity to live exclusively with other upper-class students.

The First-year Residential  Experience (FYRE)Program is once again expanding for fall 2012. Beginning in fall 2012 the West Tower will also be part of the FYRE program. As a result returning students will not be able to select housing in the West Tower.
