This may be progress, but it also means that our students and alumni are being surveyed more than ever and are suffering from serious survey fatigue. When there are too many surveys in their inboxes, people simply stop participating, our response rates drop, and none of us gets the information we need. Ithaca College has named Rachel Reuben the associate vice president for marketing communications. Reuben comes to Ithaca College from the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she spent 12 years managing a wide range of marketing and communications initiatives. All three systems will be unavailable beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10 through the morning of Monday, June 14 while the conversion to these upgraded systems takes place. Notification will be sent once the upgraded system is accessible to the entire campus. The Banner Implementation Team appreciates your understanding and cooperation during this period of time in which Homer, HomerConnect, and myIthaca are temporarily inaccessible. The dates chosen are those that will have minimal impact on most of the campus. This upgrade is necessary in order to modernize our student information system and ensure that we can continue to conduct business with the Homer system. As previously mentioned in Intercom, support for VHS media and devices is quickly fading and availability of parts for maintenance and repair will soon disappear.
