The reception will be held on Friday, May 14th, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, in Center for Health Sciences, Room 203. We hope you can join us in honoring Cathe for her many years of service! Carol Jennings was recently named Director of the Park Media Lab. Under the umbrella of this new Lab, she will oversee current and new media production and programming for Ithaca College Television (ICTV) and Park Productions as well as pursue new opportunities for programming, funding, and distribution of content. The Park Media Lab will provide students interested in video, film, and multimedia production with more varied and challenging opportunities in hands-on production, program development, crew management, and working on funded projects alongside professional media producers. The Lab will also offer new opportunities for both student and faculty involvement, including producing podcasts and web series, covering concerts and events, distributing student films and video programs, and doing R&D projects with new media technologies and formats. The Ithaca College softball team (30-13) has been selected for this year's NCAA Division III playoffs and will host one of eight regional tournaments. The second-seeded Bombers will open the double-elimination regional tournament Thursday, May 13 and play will continue until Monday, May 17. Ithaca will face seventh-seeded Dickinson (19-17) on Thursday, May 13 at 4 p.m. in the last of four Thursday games.
