Associate professor of psychology Leigh Ann Vaughn and her current Social Judgment Research Team students (Melissa Ball, Emily Clark, Ellen Gagne, Audrey Harkness, Tanesia Harris, Shamika Jackson, Rebecca Meltzer, Rebecca Ramirez, and Gregory Spirer) presented three posters about their research at the annual convention of the Eastern Psychological Association in Boston.

Additional authors of the posters were Melahat Ozses, Elizabeth June, and Lisa Schlessinger, who were students in Professor Vaughn's research team last semester.

Tenor Lee Steward, a faculty member in the School of Music, will give a free recital on Tuesday, March 25, at 8:15 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall. The program includes three world-premiere song cycles by New York City composer Gerald Busby. Pianist Charis Dimaras will collaborate.

The Department of Sociology is pleased to announce a revised major and minor program that will go into effect in fall 2008 for new students joining the department. To help introduce this program to the campus community, the department will hold an open house on April 7.
