The Ithaca College Concert Band will conclude its season with a free concert entitled “Celebrations!” on Wednesday, April 26 at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall. Alex Shuhan will be the horn soloist, and the concert will be conducted by Mark Fonder.

Timothy Reynish, formerly conductor of wind ensembles at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK, will be conducting the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Bands in upcoming free concerts. The Symphonic Band’s concert will be Tuesday, April 25 at 8:15 p.m. Ford Hall; the Wind Ensemble will perform on Thursday, April 27 at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall.

Twelve Ithaca College students presented original research at the 2006 Conference for Undergraduate Research in Communication, held at the Rochester Institute of Technology on April 19.

The conference awarded “Best Paper Awards” in four categories, three of which were won by Ithaca College students.

Surplus Property Disposal Policy

Makofske, professor of physics at Ramapo College of NJ, will offer a discussion on "Wind Energy: Supplying Clean Energy for America" as the last sustainability café for the 2005-06 academic year.
