iMPrint Magazine: College Life's Internet Magazine will be holding it's Spring Semester Rush Night on Monday, January 23 from 7 to 8 p.m. in Clark Lounge in Campus Center. Cookies and punch will be served. Anyone interested in working for Ithaca College's first online-only media outlet is encouraged to attend.

The 5th annual Cross Cultural Leadership Retreat for Ithaca College students will be held on February 17-19, 2006.
This on-campus version of the annual retreat presents the opportunity to explore the topic of diversity and its relationships to leadership. During the retreat, the entire group will participate in a series of educational sessions and discuss issues as a large group, as well as in smaller, informal conversations.

The 2005 Ithaca College United Way campaign has come to a close and surpassed its goal with $61,435.26 raised through the contributions of 383 faculty, staff, retirees, and dining staff.

The Office of Financial Aid website has been redesigned! As the first step of a long-term project to improve the site, we have updated its look and navigation. The new design is clean and inviting, and aesthetically it is more in line with the College’s goal to establish an Ithaca “brand.” It is also more organized and user friendly.

Beginning with the 2007–8 academic year, Ithaca College will no longer hold classes on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Instead, that day will be set aside each year for learning and service activities. President Peggy R. Williams made the announcement of the change to members of the College community attending the 2006 MLK Day Breakfast.

Welch Named AFCA Trustee

DALLAS – Ithaca College football coach Mike Welch has been named to the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Board of Trustees. Welch, who will serve as one of two Division III representatives to the board, replaces outgoing president Scot Dapp of Moravian. The announcement came at the AFCA’s annual convention, being held in Dallas.
