New Item at Towers Dining Hall

The Towers Dining Hall is proud to announce the addition of a new flavored beverage called "Steamers".

Steamers are a blend of steamed milk and great tasting flavors that create a rich and creamy drink.

I am pleased to announce that Michael Taves, director of Technology and Instructional Support Services, has assumed the additional title of associate director of Information Technology Services.

TransGeneration is an eight-part documentary focusing on four college students undergoing gender transition. Before the series premieres on the Sundance Channel in late September, the special festival cut will be screened on campus on Wednesday, August 31, in Textor 102 at 7:00 pm.

I am pleased to provide the campus community with an update on our progress toward addressing our diversity priority of the Institutional Plan. I convened a presidential task force on diversity in spring 2004 and charged this group to analyze our progress under the plan and to make recommendations to me. The task force submitted a report to me early last spring.

Public Safety Alert

On Tuesday, August 23, the Office of Public Safety received two separate reports of incidents in which a male subject was seen peering into residence hall bathroom showers occupied by female students. The incidents occurred on Sunday, August 21, between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Shaianne Osterreich

Shaianne Osterreich is spending the 2005/2006 academic year in Indonesia
on a Fulbright Scholarship. Shaianne will be lecturing in development
