Stephen Sweet's book, The Work and Family Handbook: Interdisciplinary Perspectives, Methods, and Aproaches, has been accepted for publication by Lawrence Erlbaum Associates. Co-edited with Marcie Pitt-Catsouphes (Boston College) and Ellen Ernst Kossek (Michigan State), the handbook contains 34 original chapters (including wo chapters cco-authored by Stephen Sweet) from leading scholars in the work-family field.

Meeting in New York City February 23–24, the Ithaca College Board of Trustees voted to adopt a budget for 2005–6, discussed the College’s planned fund-raising campaign, and approved funding for several capital projects.

At its February meeting, the Ithaca College Board of Trustees awarded emeritus status to retired professors William Bergmark, Willard Ticknor Daetsch, and Jack Pavia. The board also granted tenure to three faculty members and both tenure and promotion to another 13.
