Three Ithaca College alumni, Jon Gunn '95, Brett Winn '95, and Brian Herzlinger '97, will return to screen their soon-to-be-released film, My Date with Drew, on Wednesday, March 23, at 7:00 p.m. in the Park Auditorium. A question-and-answer session will follow the screening.

A company called ComScore Networks produces an application called Marketscore, which is advertised to enhance Internet connection speeds but is primarily an Internet-usage monitoring program that collects, analyzes, and stores everything you send to, and receive from, any website.

As part of an overall energy conservation project, meters to measure electric usage are being installed in a number of academic and administrative buildings on Monday, March 7, and Wednesday, March 9. In order to install these meters, electricity will have to be turned off in the buildings listed below starting at 6:00 a.m. on March 7, except for Job Hall and Park Building. Power in these two buildings will be turned off on March 9 from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

The graduate Occupational Therapy class of 2004-5 would like to invite all interested faculty and staff to a presentation on March 14, 2005, at 3:15 p.m. in Klingenstein Lounge. T.H. Reynolds, assistant professor in exercise and sport sciences, was awarded an National Institutes of Health grant for $185,000 to study cell signalling and insulin resistance. This is an Academic Research Enhancement Award (AREA) to promote integrative research that involves undergraduate students.

The Fitness Center will have the normal spring break hours and a few additional hours, based on staff availability. This will give student teachers the opportunity to use the Fitness Center in the evening.

In February, Professor Plante organized a session, "Bodies in Interaction" for the Stone-Couch Symposium in Boulder, Colorado. She also gave a co-authored paper, "Created Bodies: Experiences of Selves and Sexualities for Trans People." Co-authored with Braeden L. Sullivan '04, Park Scholar, OCLD major, who is currently a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and first-year law student at Santa Clara University School of Law.

The Fitness Center will offer two group-cycling classes over spring break. If you haven't taken the opportunity to try one of these classes, this is the perfect time. If you are a regular, take advantage of the reduced fee.
