Artist-in-Residence Nisma Zaman '92 will give a public presentation on Monday, March 1, 2004, at 4:00 p.m. in the Park Auditorium as part of the on-going Engaging Democracy and Troubling the Water Series. The presentation will be the Ithaca premiere of Peace by Peace: Women on the Frontlines, a feature-length film about women peace activists in ethnic conflict zones around the globe. Hand on the Pulse, a film on cofounder of the Lesbian Herstory Archives Joan Nestle, will be shown on Monday, March 1, at 7:00 p.m. in Textor 103. Part of the yearlong series, "Out of the Closet and onto the Screen: Intersections of Sexuality and Culture in Film," the film on Nestle is being shown in March to celebrate Women's History Month.

Gregg O. McCrary '67 will give a public lecture titled, "FBI Profiling of the Criminal Mind," on Monday, March 1, 2004, 7:00-8:00 p.m. in Textor 102. The event is free and open to the public, BUT SPACE IS LIMITED!

McCrary was an FBI agent for over 25 years, retiring as Supervisory Special Agent at the famed Behavioral Science Unit in Quantico, Virginia. He has consulted on cases involving the Scarborough Rapist, Green River Killers, and Sam Sheppard.

Therapeutic recreation majors Krystal Kauffman and Jana Teagle presented at the Upstate New York American Camping Association Conference in Syracuse last January under the mentorship of assistant professor Rob Porter.

Kauffman presented "Is There A Magic Pill? Strategies for Managing Behavior with Urban Youth" with Brenda Porter, counselor consultant for Star Lake Camp in New Jersey. Teagle presented an open informational session with Camp Director Peter Carner about Double "H" Hole in the Woods Ranch in Lake Luzerne, New York.

The Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team won its fourth straight New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association (NYSWCAA) title at this weekend's state championship meet.

The Bombers, who have won 14 of the last 18 state championships and 20 overall, won the meet by more than 600 points. The meet was held Feburary 18-21 in Webster, N.Y. Ithaca athletes recorded a dozen NCAA qualifying performances, led by senior Meghan Hughes who was part of seven.
