The course runs in the Fall semester on Wed and Fri from 1-3:40. Assignments center on expanding work begun in Intro to Drawing including work with the figure and spatial representation but also pushes students into more complex problem solving both compositionally and conceptually. Media include graphite, inks, charcoal and gouache, substrates include traditional drawing papers as well as mylar and wood panels.
