As a result of work that was completed by the Facilities staff and outside contractors during the previous shutdown the need no longer exists. (89 words) If you have taken any Introduction to Drawing class -whether it is ICC designated or a standard Intro course, you have the prerequisite to take the intermediate level of drawing. Note if you took the ICC version of the Intro course you will need to request an override. The course runs in the Fall semester on Wed and Fri from 1-3:40. Assignments center on expanding work begun in Intro to Drawing including work with the figure and spatial representation but also pushes students into more complex problem solving both compositionally and conceptually. Media include graphite, inks, charcoal and gouache, substrates include traditional drawing papers as well as mylar and wood panels.
